Refund Policy

Built to help, not impress. This refund policy explains how we handle cancellations, refunds, and project changes for services provided by Maitreya Labs. We keep things simple, fair, and transparent.

1) What This Covers

  • Problem-Solving Sessions (free consultation)
  • Free Landing Page Offer
  • Paid Projects (web pages, funnels, email/SMS/WhatsApp setup, tracking, integrations, content, ads setup)
  • Retainers and Ongoing Support

Note: The Free Landing Page and Problem-Solving Session are zero-cost offers; the sections below clarify timelines, eligibility, and what happens if we stop.

2) Problem-Solving Session (Free)

  • The session is free. There are no charges and therefore no refunds.
  • If we do not meaningfully crack at least one problem during the session, you're eligible for a free landing page as stated in our Terms.
  • Rescheduling: If needed, please notify us at least 12 hours in advance.

3) Free Landing Page Offer

  • One page, one revision, typical delivery in 5–7 business days after alignment and receipt of assets.
  • No payment is taken for the free landing page. Therefore, refunds do not apply.
  • Eligibility: one per business, capacity-limited, subject to our discretion and fit.
  • If we discontinue the free offer due to misuse or unfit scope, there is no financial obligation either way.

4) Deposits and Paid Projects

We do sequencing, keep scope tight, and avoid surprises. To schedule and start work:

  • Deposits: A non-refundable deposit (typically 30–50% of the project value) may be required to secure your slot and begin work.
  • Milestones: Remaining fees are billed by deliverable/milestone or on a weekly cadence, as agreed in the proposal or scope of work (SOW).

Refunds on paid projects follow these rules:

  • Before work starts: If you've paid a deposit and request cancellation before we begin, the deposit is generally non-refundable (it holds your slot and pre-work time). In rare circumstances, we may refund partially at our discretion if no work at all has commenced.
  • After work starts: Fees for any completed or in-progress work are non-refundable. If you cancel mid-project, we'll provide a work summary and pro-rated invoice for completed work; any overpayment (beyond work completed) will be refunded within 10 business days.
  • Client delays: If timelines slip due to missing assets/approvals/access, we'll pause and reschedule. Fees already paid remain non-refundable, and new timelines will be set when inputs are ready.

5) Retainers and Ongoing Support

  • Retainers are billed in advance (monthly/quarterly).
  • Cancellation: Provide 14 days' notice before the next billing cycle. We'll complete the current cycle; no partial refunds for unused time within an active cycle.
  • If you pause: We can hold your slot for up to 30 days. After that, a restart may require a new schedule and retainer.

9) How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

  • Subject: Refund/Cancellation – [Your Business Name]
  • Project/Retainer name and invoice number
  • Reason for the request
  • Any supporting details

We'll respond within 2 business days and resolve within 10 business days where refunds apply.
